Beautiful restaurant with delicious plates! We came on a Saturday around 2pm and there was a point that we were the only table there so our experience was very relaxed and quaint! On a cooler day I'd love to sit outside because the patio looks over a small pond with a fountain. But the interior is beautiful!
Enjoyed a wonderful lunch with friends on their outside patio. Fried pickle chips & onion rings to share.Ordered a sandwich salad combo, tuna salad sandwich with Caesar salad, very good.
Wishing we tried this place sooner! Took a friend to dinner because I couldn't tell if this was a place our whole family would like or not. They have a variety menu an upscale vibe, but very friendly (not pretentious). I will definitely be back with family and friends...
Just had one of the best meals I've ever enjoyed in the Bee Cave/Lakeway area. The Ahi Poke appetizer was amazing. Loved the Taro chips. The Halibut entree was light and very tasty. Had a side of grilled asparagus which was to die for.
The food and the owner are first class all the way! Incredible homemade upscale food with explosive flavor! This is a true gem of a restaurant in the Galleria! Worth the trip if you're coming from downtown too! Will always celebrate our special occasions here. BIG PLUS that they have a live music a few days a week!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Plate! The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, creative, and absolutely delicious. The mussels and coconut cake were to die for! Every dish reflected the chef's incredible talent and passion. One of the highlights of our evening was getting to meet the chef personally. She was so warm, engaging, and clearly passionate about her craft. It made the experience feel especially personal and memorable. The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Plate is truly a special restaurant, and we cannot wait to return. We highly recommend it! A must stop for folks visiting Austin Tx.!
We celebrated our 37th anniversary at Plate’s recently and had a top notch experience! Our waitress was super! She was continually available and watchful to our needs, very courteous and pleasant, and one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. Rosi went out of her way to make our anniversary lovely , and even arranged for a special song to be played for us. The entertainment was amazing! Great singer, lots of love songs, and great sound. It goes without saying that the food was incredible, coffee rich, and the desserts to die for. Between the excellent service, the perfect atmosphere, and the great food.. gives us plenty of reasons for a return trip. Thanks for making a memorable event even better.
